About the Compassionate Listening Intensive:
This experiential workshop is for those wanting to strengthen their skills as peacemakers and cultivate compassion in daily life. Compassionate Listening is a powerful tool for reconciliation. It is used to initiate peace-building efforts in conflict at all levels: personal, community and global, offering insight and healing for all.
This weekend intensive focuses on the fundamentals of Compassionate Listening and provides the skills to bring this technique into daily life, including listening in challenging situations. Participants will be more equipped to enter into meaningful dialogue, create new solutions when in conflict, and establish more trusting relationships.
Healing, reconciliation and conflict resolution are the goals each time we listen not only with our ears, but with the wisdom of our hearts. Together we create a loving, trusting learning community and experience the transformative power of Compassionate Listening. We welcome people of all nationalities and backgrounds age 18 and over.
